I am such a huge dreamer, especially when it comes to romance. So it just makes sense that I love reading romance novels that make me fall in love with the lead male characters every time:) What are some extremely cute, witty teen romance novels? Books that revolve around love, relationships and humor at the same time? I want to laugh, smile and blush non-stop;) thanks:)

I am having my golden birthday this year! So to celebrate, I am throwing my grade’s first dance party. My birthday is in November, but I live in a place where it’s hot, so even in November, it isn’t very cold. The dance will be inside, so you don’t have to worry about jackets or anything. To protect my security, let’s just say I am under 15 years old. Can someone find me a cute party dress, with some shoes, and gold accessories? Nothing too sheer, or sexy, but cute and flirty. Websites and direct links are appreciated. Thanks!
    For Lexi:
I’m not a skinny mini, but I’m not huge either.
I like pink, green, purple, blue, lots of bright colors. But I also wouldn’t mind going with a more classic black and white.
I want some gold accessories maybe.
I am just really looking for some options to consider.
    Thanks!

I am 15 years old and my room has looked the same since im was in 1st grade! My mom says that I can change it but I can’t find any comforters that I like. I already looked at target, kohls, walmart, jcpenny, pb teen, carsons, bed bath & beyond, and linens and things. Are there any other places that sell really cute comforters that teens would like? They could be comforter or bedspread sets or even bed in a bag. I am really into cheeteah print and zebra too.

    Hi.
Okay so , this year I want to have a nice Halloween costume. I’m 13 (in grade 8) so clearly not something slutty, but not babyish either. Like something cute and something that will make you look really good. I don’t want to spend a fortune definitely less than $100 on a costume, definitely a lot less.I’ve already been a baby, angel, cheerleader, and like a Santa’s helper type of thing. I’m willing to be a cheerleader again, but maybe make it nicer since last time I was only like 8 years old. Anyhow, I’m really tiny for my age, so I might have some trouble finding stuff. I was thinking of buying like a really nice dressand a half mask, but most likley we’re not going to have a masquerade ball , so I’m going to kind of look strange. Anyhow, here is my description:

    Im around 5 foot tall
    Brown hair, hazel eyes
    I’m a size xs and 00
    and .. YEAH.

    So anyhow, please help!

Hey! So I’ll be in 9th grade next year and I need a new bag to use as a backpack for school. In previous years I have used a Vera Bradley totebag, but I wanted something more stylish. All that I have to carry to and from school is my MacBook and cellphone and maybe a few other small necessities. I go to a technology based school so I won’t ever be carrying a binder or textbooks. I found this cute one from Urban Outfitters that I really like and I want something kinda similar to it or if you think something else is cute in your opinion, send me a link to the website. Here is the Urban outfitters one: http://m.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/mobile/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=18128256&pushId=W_ACC_BAGS&popId=WOMENS

    Thanks for any suggestions!

The things I’m looking for are –

    Books that are lighthearted
Books from a teens/child’s point of view
    A little bit of comedy
Books that are NOT part of a series
    Bitter-sweetness
    Realistic-fiction, pretty please

A really , really good example would be ‘Shug’ by Jenny Han. ( that book was SO cute , it made me cry !! )

You don’t have to follow every guideline , but those are suggestions .

I am interested in getting started with amateur radio with a budget close to $300 or $400
I would prefer a handheld but could also consider a mobile radio for car and home.
I don’t know what the most prevalent radio bands are being used for things such as police and fire etc, but the reason I am looking for a ham type radio is besides scanning police and fire I would like to be able to also communicate on VHF/UHF bands that the radios on my school campus use (I have an on campus job and would like my own personal radio to have instead of using the department’s)

Hello- i was look through the Writers Market and saw that an amateur mistake for an unpublished writer is to get their book copy-written. Whenever I train for an amateur boxing match, I make my diet strict and I put my body through hell 5-6 days a week (along with recovery) in the gym. I try and cut down as much weight as possible for a fight. The day after a fight, I just pig out on junk food weather it’s pizza, McDonalds, candy, ice cream, etc! So far I won my last 2 fights and I have one coming up this weekend and I plan to pig out the next day. who else does this?

Not that I made one, just had a question about it and wanted more people to answer!

With the advent of all these big telescopes and sattelites and stuff tracking the skies in the last few decades, what is the likelihood of an amateur astronomer discovering some new nebula or comet or crazy thing in the skies?

When was the last time someone discovered something of importance in the skies that was not an astronomer by occupation or part of a university or funded study group? Anyone have a good entry to the list? Or has anyone out there every discovered something new in space? Did you get to name it?

Hello! I am 23 and I am about to join the Royal Navy. When I pass basic training I want to get involved in boxing- I dabbled in it a little at school, but fell in with the wrong crowd and so I gave up after a month or so of training. However I really want to give it another shot once I’m done with training.

By the time I get started I’m likely to be 25- is this too old to start competing at amateur level? Also, I am 5’10” and 12 stone (170 lbs). Do I need to lose or gain weight, if at all?

Lastly, is there any place for hard punches or toe-to-toe fighting in amateur boxing? I seem to remember I had a leaning towards this over light footwork when I trained at school, but of course I may be a lot different now!

    Thanks.

Can we compare players and teams from the amateur era to the modern era of proffessionalism?

Just look at the 1982 SA vs. NZ Tour, the quality of the rugby compared to now is, without being rude, shocking. The modern era is much better. I know purists will always tell of how the game was just as good back then as it is now, but honestly do you truely believe that???

Its not that the players were sh*t back then, they played to the standard at the time and it was entertaining, and yes I do respect that era and what it achieved, but one cannot deny that the players of today are more precise (not neccessarily more skilled) but have refined their skills to be more accurate and clinical (just watch a lineout from the 80’s compared to now and you’ll see what I mean)

Anyways, what’s your opinion? I wanna stress that I’m not dissing the amateur era, mearly stating that if one was to choose the greatest team of all time wouldn’t it consist of modern proffessional players rather than the older amateur era?

Okay say if i was doing an amateur match.. what would the rules be? Seriously i have no real idea on MMA rules normally.

    How many rounds?
    How long is each round?
    When does a round end?
How exactly can a round end, and can it end early?
How do you get points and how does the scoring system work (try and give an example of an already-fought match, and say how you would describe the score please?)

Can you answer all of these questions please? Thanks!

I would like to join an amateur dramatics group in Sydney – nothing too serious, and don’t mind if I’m on stage or backstage, but just something fun to meet people and take part in some drama. Any ideas?

So I’ve decided to getting to MMA. I just turned 23 this month and want to start training this year. Eventually I want to do amateur fighting and go pro. Am I starting too late in age to be a amateur fighter? and when it comes to training on average how many hours a day should someone train? I’m able to begin training this year (money would be the only issue) at 23 could I begin amateur fights by the age of 25?

BQ: I’m also a junior college student who’s considering starting my training by wrestling for my school but I also found a gym that offers wrestling. If was to quit school and train full time while working a job would be that be smart?

(this question is directed to those who have already fought and have mma experience)

A blue belt in bjj (3 years of ligit practicing) 3 times a week

2 years of muay thai training, 3 time a week

1 year of mma training, 3 times a week

being 21 and having this experience already, if i have progressd well and show talent(not a slow learner) would i be ready for an amateur mma bout? if not wat would i need?
and more so, wat about becoming a professioal mixed martial artist? how much more training wud i need?
all of this training occurred at az combat sports. an excellent mma training facility.. and dnt say its up to my trainers.. i want to see other opinions compared to the average amateur fighter out there

Is starting a book with someone running- even if it’s not necessarily from a ‘bad guy’- amateur. Some people have told me it is so if you could give your opinion that would be great. Also what other things do amateur writers tend to do(besides asking questions like this one on YahooAnswers)

Okay, I may be dense, but what is the difference between a basic amateur and an open amateur in ballroom dancing? Is it just that they compete? I don’t get it. Someone help my feeble brain!

Cassius Clay, Ray Leonard, Teofilo Stevenson. Felix Savon, Mario Kindelan, Amir Khan, Guillermo Rigondeaux, James Degale, George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, Leon Spinks, Michael Spinks, Joe Frazier, Ray Robinson, Pernell Whitaker, Tyrell Biggs, Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jr, Dick McTaggart, Laszlo Papp, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Wladimir Klitscko, Roberto Cammarelle, Floyd Patterson, Alexander Povetkin, Odlanier Solis

So who is it to be from that impressive list? George Foreman winning Olympic gold after 20 fights as an amateur is pretty impressive if you ask me although I am not saying he was th best amateur as some of those other fighters have had 200 fights or more as an amateur. There has been numerous accounts of Ali’s record with some saying he was undefeated while others say he lost 5 and another sorce saying he won 100 and lost 8. So which is it as there are some discrepancies with Ali’s or Clay’s record as an amateur? I know Ali lost to Jimmy Ellis as an amateur and also lost another couple in the first couple of rounds, one courtesy of a cut eye which a unusual for Ali lol. So the one that says he won 108 and lost 5 is probably clos to the mark than the other sources which is phenomenal. I have also read that Ray Robinson never lost a fight in over 200 fights as an amateur while winning them all and then winning his first 40 fights as a professional which is ridiculous (in a good way) if you ask me lol. And Ray would have probably won Olypic gold in the 1936 Olympics if he was old enough to compete as Ray would have only been 15 at the time. And he would have been a pro for years by the time the 1948 Olympics in London started. Ray Leonard also had a fantastic amateur career as he won 145 of 150 fights, or something like that anyway, which culminated with him winning the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.
So it was 85 fights that Ray won fair enough as that is still amazing. I don’t know were I got the 200 from lol.
